(WFN) What drives one person into the arms of another? According to human pheromone expert, Dr. Virgil Amend, dating and mating is highly influenced by pheromones, powerful air-borne chemical hormones produced by the body that fill the air around us to attract the opposite sex. Or, do they?

It has been long understood that nearly every species in the animal kingdom produce and sense pheromones, including humans. You can’t see them or smell them, yet they can be powerful enough to instantly draw another person like a magnet.

“Humans naturally produce their own pheromones.” Says Dr. Amend, “However, our cultural habits can wash away, distort or hide our natural pheromones with frequent bathing, detergents, antiperspirants, etc.” Without supplementing with topical pheromones, our natural pheromones largely go unnoticed as evolution has not yet adapted to modern life styles.

However, by applying a few drops of a topical pheromone supplement on the exposed areas of skin, such as the neck and forearms, both men and women can replace natural levels of their own gender appropriate pheromones. Lasting several hours, the pheromones permeate the air, giving their sex appeal a real boost.

Dr. Amend explains, “Scientists have known for decades about an organ just inside the nasal cavity called the vomeronasal organ (VNO) that contains specialized nerve receptors to detect pheromones. What’s quite interesting,” Dr. Amend continues, “Is that it has been recently discovered that a specialized nerve pathway, known as ‘Nerve O,’ runs directly from the VNO to the limbic region of the brain. This area of the brain is responsible for our emotions and passionate desires. This discovery helps explain how pheromones trigger the attraction response.”

This new evidence tells us that humans do, in fact, respond to pheromones just as animals do, and the best part is this response can be triggered intentionally. A precise concentration of pheromones can kick off a rush of chemicals in the brain within a matter of seconds, and can make people feel a strong emotional and physical response. “The next thing we know, the fireworks begin,” says Dr. Amend. “These formulations can produce that response, and while the chemical cascade may take mere seconds to occur, the effects can last a lifetime.”

This evidence has been tested and borne out in various scientific studies on animals as well as a famous “twins” study done by the ABC News show 20/20. To test whether pheromones really work 20/20 sent one set each of identical male and female twins to a speed-dating event, and gave them each a scent – one twin in each set received a scent containing pheromones. No one knew who had what. They went on 10 dates each lasting five minutes. The daters then completed forms stating which of the people they would like to see again. At the end of the evening they tallied the results: Nine men wanted to see Sarah again and five men wanted to see Bridget again. As for the guys, 10 women were interested in Dave and only six women were interested in Paul. Sarah and Dave were wearing the pheromones.

“Attraction is really all about chemistry” says Dr. Amend, “After all, men and women have been programmed from the beginning for one basic purpose… and that is to reproduce. These formulations merely tap into the power of nature’s chemistry by triggering the signals every person is programmed to sense and respond to”.

What does that mean? Well, according to Dr. Amend, and to thousands of repeat customers, it apparently means more flirting, more dates and more passion.

The two Pheromone Advantage formulas, one for men and one for women, blend the most powerful pheromones appropriate to activate the VNO organ in each of the sexes, and each formula is concentrated to insure best results.

Today, Pheromone Advantage is available and ships in a very discreet, unmarked package. It comes with a 180 day unconditional satisfaction guarantee – if you’re not satisfied in any way, the company will refund the entire product price with no questions asked. Click here to learn more about their offer and to see how you can get a 30-day supply Pheromone Advantage for just $39.95.

(WFN) It’s 7 AM on a Wednesday and Pat Miles is getting ready for another busy day at the office. But before she butters her toast and kicks her day into high gear she heads into her den and pops a DVD into the player. It’s time for her morning Pilates workout.

Pilates popularity has exploded in the last several years in gyms, YMCA’s, schools and rec rooms across the country. Pilates originated in Germany and was developed by Joseph Pilates who believed that mental and physical health were inseparable elements of wellness. Pilates uses precise movements to stretch, strengthen and stabilize the muscles of the body with an emphasis on breathing and focused movements particularly around the abdomen. Today, millions of men and women work out using these intense exercises and there are thousands of instructors trained in taking them through their paces. The idea is to strengthen the core muscles of the torso and have the energy flow out from them to the extremities.

Pilates demands intense focus – there are no sloppy, uncontrolled movements. Movement is expected to be kept continuous between exercises through the use of fluid transitions. Once precision has been achieved, the exercises are intended to flow within and into each other in order to build strength and stamina. In this way Pilates closely resembles the movements in Yoga or Tai Chi.

“What I like about Pilates” says Ms. Miles, “is that it helps to focus my mind as well as tone my body. I get an excellent workout to be sure and it helps me stayed toned and strong, but I really like that when I finish my session I feel more alert throughout my entire day.” Although she used to work out at a gym, the demands on her time made the convenience of working out at home almost mandatory. “The pressure at work has only gotten greater in the last couple of years and I need to keep in shape, not just for my physical health but for my own peace of mind. Though I love to go to the gym I find that I can get a great workout at home and save myself a little time, and believe me – that time is precious! I’ve done all sorts of exercise tapes in the past, including Buns of Steel, Jane Fonda’s Workout and Cathy Smith but when I discovered Pilates I felt I was getting a more complete workout experience.”

Pilates usually requires the use of special machines to get the proper stretch and tension but Pilates also developed a series of floor exercises, or matwork, to achieve the desired effect and complement the machine work. Contemporary Pilates instructors use props like balls and bands to intensify the movements of the floor exercises and these are available at most sporting goods stores and on line.

(WFN) According to Dr. Zoltan P. Rona, M.D., “Although most healthy people will have no obvious side effects from ingesting small amounts of toxins found in cheap (fractionated/synthetic) vitamins, the long term consequences of continuous, daily intakes are potentially dangerous. Over 7% of the population displays sensitivity to these chemicals.” Dr. Rona continues to say, “That allergic reactions include fatigue, memory loss, depression and insomnia”.

The following information was taken form an article written by Dr. Ben Kim of Health & Beyond:

“A good example is vitamin C. If you take a look at a variety of vitamin C supplements, you will find that the majority of them contain only ascorbic acid or a compound called Ascorbate, which is a less acidic form of ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid is NOT vitamin C. It represents the outer ring that serves as a protective shell for the entire vitamin C complex, much like an egg shell that serves as a protective covering for the content of an egg.

Real vitamin C found in whole foods like fruits and vegetables contain the 8 following components of which ascorbic acid is just one:

Rutin

Bioflavonoids (vitamin P)

Factor K

Factor J

Factor P

Tyrosinase

Ascorbinogen

Ascorbic Acid

As you can see, Ascorbic Acid is 1/8 of the whole complex! Hence, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is “fractionated”. Let’s be real clear on this. Ascorbic Acid is not Vitamin C. Ascorbic Acid is Ascorbic Acid which is a fraction of the biologically utilizable Vitamin C complex! Common sense should tell us that when you take a “fraction” of something it is not the same as the whole substance. When the “fraction” by itself is obtained from an altogether different source than the original substance simply because “it’s the same thing,” (translates into: cheaper to produce) and the body can tell the difference! You cannot put into a live organism a dead substance and expect long-term positive results.”

However, it must be noted that although one may change their diet and begin eating more fruits, vegetables and other whole food nutrients, if a good consistent cardiovascular and exercise program in not incorporated into the plan, overall long-term good health is still compromised. If you are not exercising then start doing so…..get help. Personal trainers are available at most fitness center locations. If budget is a problem, at least get some consultation as to how to begin…..it could just very well save your life, not to mention vastly improving your mental and physical vitality and quality of life.

Let’s look at some additional facts:

Look at your cereal box, look at your bread, look at your milk…..now go read the label on your vitamin/mineral/antioxidant supplement that is sitting in your cupboard. Except for some possible added “food derived” antioxidants and some possible herbal additives, they are IDENTICAL! Could it be that we are over dosing on synthetic chemicals that just might be contributing to a buildup of liver toxins?

We have been told for years that we can get all the vitamins and minerals we need if we eat a balanced diet. Not true! More than 90% of Americans don’t eat the recommended daily servings of fruit and vegetables. And even if we try our best to eat more vegetables, the ones we purchase in the produce department don’t have the vitamins and minerals that they had 40 or 50 years ago….over the years soils have become severely depleted of these life sustaining nutrients.

In Department of Agriculture studies of 50,000 persons performed in the 1980′s, not one person was getting the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of the 10 essential vitamins found in whole foods….specifically fruits and vegetables. In many cases the RDA of vitamins and minerals from whole food sources as produced today is insufficient for optimum health. Therefore, is a multi vitamin/mineral nutritional supplement advisable? Yes, highly advisable, but the right kind!

We do need to be taking nutritional supplements, but how can we be sure we are making the right choices when choosing these supplements? As mentioned above, companies spend millions in advertising trying to convince us that their vitamins are the best on the market. What can we believe and to whom can we go to for advice? Can we go to our doctor? Most medical schools provide less than 3 hours of education in nutrition.

(WFN) As posted in the Monday, March 20, 2006 Wall Street Journal article by Tara Parker-Pope, some vitamins can be hazardous to your health. Most people are not aware that many of the synthetic vitamins, including some of the highly advertised “name brands” are processed in a laboratory at high temperatures, contain petroleum derived chemical solvents, such as ethyl cellulose, coal tar and acetone and are coated with methylene chloride, a carcinogenic material.

Rather than being whole-food natural vitamin complexes they are fractionated chemicals…..only fractional portions of the whole. Take a look at this….what do these words mean to you?

Pryidoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Thiamine Chloride, Cobalamin, Cyanocobalamin, Palmitate, Acetate, Menadione, Phytonadione, Cholecalciferol, Niacin, Niacinamide, Ascorbic Acid, Buffered Ascorbic Acid, , Riboflavin, d-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate, Tocopheryl Acetate, dl-alpha Tocopherol, Alpha-tocopherol, Succinate, Choline Bitartrate, Pteroylglutamic Acid.

Each one of these words refers to vitamins….vitamins that are in a synthetic, fractionated form. They are made from dead chemicals in a laboratory…not from living whole food like fruits, berries, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. A list of these words looks more like a chemistry class text book than something good and nutritious to eat!

Now look at these words….what do they mean to you?

Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Citrate, Calcium Ascorbate, Calcium Pantothenate, Tricalcium Phosphate, Potassium Iodide, Ferrous Gluconate, Ferrous Sulfate, Copper Gluconate, Copper Citrate, Magnesium Phosphate, Magnesium Citrate, Magnesium Oxide, Potassium Borate, Manganese Citrate, Manganese Glycerophosphate, Potassium Borate, Chromium Polynicotinate, Molybdenum Trioxide, L-Selenomethionine, Sodium Selenite, Vanadyl Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, and Zinc Acetate.

These words all refer to synthetic, inorganic mineral salts. Each one of these substances are also made in a laboratory…..they are chemical based. Again, it looks more like the readings from your chemistry class than actually eating something nutritious!

Is it possible that in the name of “good health and nutrition”, we are literally over-dosing on synthetic, fractionated and inorganic, laboratory produced ingredients? These chemical substances may quite possibly be building up unnecessary amounts of toxins in our liver and thus may possibly be contributing to a wide variety of physical ailments.

According to Dr.

(WFN) Label reading has become a fine art these days. Whether in the super market or health food store, people are reading labels as if they were studying a school text. And it’s a good thing to because the more educated the public is about what they eat and drink the healthier they will become. But it’s not always easy to know what these labels really mean. There are so many scientific terms and chemical names on the average vitamin label you have to be a chemist or a clinical dietician to know what they all are.

One new name I read on my vitamin package recently was OptiBerry®. Fortunately, we do know a clinical dietician and so we asked Michelle Bacarella to explain to us the benefits of this all-natural formula. Here’s what she told us:

OptiBerry® is a standardized, multiple berry anthocyanin extract formulated and tested for optimum safety, bioavailability, antioxidant and anti-angiogenic (the ability to reduce unwanted growth of blood vessels, which may lead to varicose veins and tumor formation) activity. OptiBerry® contains a unique, proprietary blend of wild blueberry, strawberry, cranberry, wild bilberry, elderberry and raspberry extracts (patent-pending), which are known for their health-promoting properties due to their high content of anthocyanins.

OK, thanks Michelle! What she really means to say is that OptiBerry® is made from real fruits and has amazing anti-oxidant properties and can help with a range of illnesses and ailments. The nutritional value of fruit is well documented. The USDA recommends 4 cups of fruit and vegetables every day, with a focus on eating more fruits. Strawberries alone are rated by the USDA as one of the premiere power foods based on a new antioxidant studies. The high concentration of vitamin and mineral extracts from fruits in OptiBerry®makes it a fantastic way to get all the nutrients you need from one source.

What does OptiBerry® do?

Promotes healthy brain function and mental clarity

Promotes healthy vision

Promotes cardiovascular health

Promotes healthy skin

Promotes urinary tract health

Promotes healthy blood sugar levels

Helps prevent the effects of premature aging

OptiBerry®is the result of extensive scientific research, which methodically evaluated key functional parameters, including ORAC (antioxidant activity), VEGF (anti-angiogenic activity), bioavailability and safety of numerous individual berry extracts. Based on these findings, more than 20 combinations of individual berry extracts were formulated and evaluated to determine the safest and most efficacious combination. Of the combinations tested, one stood out above all others, OptiBerry®, a proprietary blend of wild blueberry, strawberry, cranberry, wild bilberry, elderberry and raspberry seed extracts, which demonstrated superior safety, bioavailability, antioxidant and anti-angiogenic activity. Again, to see the value of this formula look at the chart below.

(WFN) Exercise… everyone’s doing it. America is health and fitness conscious as never before. Whether at the gym or in the comfort of our own homes, men and women are lifting weights, taking step aerobic classes, spinning, taking Judo and Tai Chi classes and running marathons. The battle against obesity and illness is on full throttle!

If you are just starting a fitness program or are thinking about it, there are a few things you should know. If you can, consult with a personal trainer. It can cost a few dollars but it is certainly worth it to work with an expert. If a trainer is not an option, consult with your doctor. It would be smart to check your blood pressure, cholesterol levels and heart rate before taking on an aggressive fitness routine.

When starting out remember to go slow at first. Work up to the level of activity that is right for you. Here are a few guidelines to avoid over doing it.

Gradually increase your activity level, especially if you have not been exercising regularly.

Wait at least one and a half hours after eating a meal before exercising.

When drinking liquids during exercise, remember to follow your fluid restriction guidelines.

Take time to include a five-minute warm-up, including stretching exercises, before any aerobic activity and include a five- to 10-minute cool down after the activity. Stretching can be done while standing or sitting.

Exercise at a steady pace. Keep a pace that allows you to still talk during the activity.

Keep an exercise record.

How Can I Stick With It?

Have fun! Choose an activity that you enjoy. You’ll be more likely to stick with an exercise program if you enjoy the activity. Here are some questions you can think about before choosing a routine:

What physical activities do I enjoy?

Do I prefer group or individual activities?

What programs best fit my schedule?

Do I have physical conditions that limit my choice of exercise?

What goals do I have in mind? (For example, losing weight, strengthening muscles or improving flexibility.)

Schedule exercise into your daily routine. Plan to exercise at the same time every day (such as in the mornings when you have more energy). Add a variety of exercises so that you do not get bored. If you exercise regularly, it will soon become part of your lifestyle.

Find an exercise “buddy.” This will help you stay motivated.

General Workout Tips for People With Heart Failure

Be sure any exercise is paced and balanced with rest.

Avoid isometric exercises such as push-ups and sit-ups. Isometric exercises involve straining muscles against other muscles or an immovable object.

Don’t exercise outdoors when it is too cold, hot, or humid. High humidity may cause you to tire more quickly; extreme temperatures can interfere with circulation, make breathing difficult, and cause chest pain. Better choices are indoor activities such as mall walking.

Make sure you stay hydrated. It is important to drink water even before you feel thirsty, especially on hot days. But, be careful not to drink too much water. Follow your doctor’s guidelines about how much fluid you can have in a day.

Extremely hot and cold showers or sauna baths should be avoided after exercise. These extreme temperatures increase the workload on the heart.

Steer clear of exercise in hilly areas. If you must walk in steep areas, make sure you slowdown when going uphill to avoid working too hard. Monitor your heart rate closely.

If your exercise program has been interrupted for a few days (for example, due to illness, vacation, or bad weather), make sure you ease back into the routine. Start with a reduced level of activity, and gradually increase it until you are back where you started.

Also, exercise does not have to put a strain on your wallet. Avoid buying expensive equipment or health club memberships unless you are certain you will use them regularly. Finding a good natural food supplement will always increase your performance and energy levels. A good source for healthy products is www.TrueHealthyProducts.com

(WFN) As a coffee lover, I feel I know the difference between a quality coffee and lesser varieties just by taste. But can we really know the difference between the finest grown and roasted coffees and the standard store bought beans in a bag just because we consider ourselves to be coffee aficionados?

The truth is there is more to coffee than meets the eye, nose and taste buds. How and where a coffee bean is grown is as important as the roast. There are primarily only 2 kinds of coffee beans used to brew coffee. That statement of fact may come as a surprise to you since commercial coffee distributors market their products as uniquely different. We are indoctrinated to believe that coffee from Columbia is superior to that grown in other areas thanks to a brilliant long running ad campaign. In fact, coffee beans are not beans at all; rather they are the seeds of the coffee plant.

Even Maxwell House, a world renowned brand, advertises that it uses only 100% Arabica beans. The fact is that most of the coffee we drink in the U.S. is made from Arabica beans. Arabica is generally considered the best quality coffee bean and accounts for about 75% of the coffee grown in the world. The other major type of coffee is grown in areas where Arabica doesn’t and generally is subject to inferior harvesting practices as well.

Starbucks, Maxwell House, Timothy’s, Peet’s, Chock Full O’ Nuts, Newman’s Own, and Dunkin’ Donuts – what makes them different? Well, first and foremost it’s about the roasting. Next it’s about where the coffee is grown – the richest coffee is shade grown mountain coffee. And of course we all want to drink an organic product free of dangerous pesticides. But there is another factor that has nothing to do with the coffee plant itself or the bean that is picked. It has to do with the quality of human life.

Many coffee roasters today promise to buy only Fair Trade coffee from growers that incorporate strict rules for protecting and insuring an honest wage for the mostly poor plantation workers. The philosophy behind Fair Trade is simple. Its intent is to work with marginalized producers and workers so they can move from a position of vulnerability to financial security and economic self-sufficiency. Another aim is to have these workers become stakeholders in their own organizations and to actively play a wider role in the global economy.

Since I put away at least four cups of java every morning, it gives me some satisfaction if I know that the labor that it takes to produce my favorite brew is at least getting a fair shake.

But as I mentioned earlier, when it comes to flavor, it’s all about the roasting. The style of coffee you drink, be it mild and aromatic, a rich dark roast, Viennese, French or Italian espresso or Café Cubano, is created in the roasting process. That is why the quality and care that goes into the making of the finished product is so important. Just like a great brew master creating a quality beer, the coffee roaster has to be a master of his art. This is why roasting small batches of beans instead of mass amounts makes for a better coffee; the roaster has greater control over his or her final product. And that is why so many coffee lovers today look for the small, independent, neighborhood roaster when they want a delicious, full-flavored cup.

I’m sure it’s the last thing you want to think about when you reach for that morning cup or after dinner Café Ole but next time you smell that familiar aroma and get ready to sip, remember the four elements of a great cup of coffee:

Shade grown Arabica coffee beans

Skilled roasting in small batches

Organic growing without harmful pesticides

Fair Trade growers and distributors for a better world.

(WFN) I love coffee. I can’t get enough of that rich aromatic flavor.

But, like so many of us today, too much caffeine is a health concern for me. So a few years back I reluctantly switched to decaf. It was not a happy switch because I drank coffee not just for the caffeine rush but also for the flavor. What a dilemma.

I’d been drinking coffee since I was a kid and my mom started to put a teaspoon of coffee in my milk so that I would drink it. I hated milk (of course back in those days the term lactose intolerance was virtually unknown) but I loved the smell of my mother’s morning cup of coffee. One day when I was 8 or 9, refusing to drink my milk and after great insistence, she let me have a sip of her coffee. It was all over from there. I loved the rich taste. My mom used plenty of cream and sugar so to me it was like having desert for breakfast. So began the ritual of putting coffee in my milk. As time went on there was less and less milk and more and more coffee so that by the time I was a high school senior I drank my coffee black. When I went off to college my first purchase was a coffee pot. I discovered espresso while working my way through school in an Italian restaurant. On a trip to Miami I experienced my first “colada” or Cuban coffee. Today I have at least 3 different styles of coffee makers for any occasion and I only use the finest, shade grown, organic, Fair Trade, specialty roasts.

I am sure you can understand, given my attachment to that superior black liquid, how difficult it would be to give up a full flavored brew but my health came first. I suffer from hypertension and one of the first things my doctor encouraged me to do was to give up caffeine. Oh, the horror!

And that is when I discovered that not all decafs are made the same. You see, most decaf, like the kind you get in a restaurant or at Dunkin’ Donuts or even Starbucks, are decaffeinated by a process that uses nasty chemicals like benzene or methylene chloride or ethyl acetate to get the caffeine out. That’s why the unpleasant aftertaste. If you think about it, the idea of drinking a liquid that has been soaked in these harsh chemicals is really nuts!

Here’s a fact about decaf coffee: in order to be called decaffeinated a coffee must be 97% caffeine free. In Many European countries that number is as high as 99%. So there is always some trace of caffeine in your decaf coffee. That is why for people who suffer from high blood pressure or other ailments where caffeine is bad news, a quality decaf is an important factor. But adding these harsh chemicals to your body is not a good idea either.

There is a way to get the caffeine out without chemicals however and only the best coffee roasters, ones who care about their customer’s health and taste buds, go to the added trouble and expense to make it. Sometimes referred to as the Swiss Process or European Process, it is a method of using only water to draw out the caffeine. The results are better tasting, healthier coffee.

I’m sure it’s the last thing you want to think about when you reach for that morning cup or after dinner Café Ole but next time you smell that familiar aroma and get ready to sip, remember the four elements of a great cup of decaf coffee:

Shade grown Arabica coffee beans

Skilled roasting in small batches

Organic growing without harmful pesticides

Fair Trade growers and distributors for a better world

Water process decaffeination without harsh chemicals

Today you can buy flavored coffees, whole bean, ground and bulk coffees but for real coffee lovers who want to reduce their caffeine intake, only Water Processed Decaf will do.

(WFN) Could it be possible that we as Americans are the most over fed and yet undernourished people in the world? For nearly 70 years we have been overwhelmed with information about the need for supplemental
vitamins and minerals. Health food stores, grocery stores and even some doctor’s offices have shelves loaded with bottles and boxes of vitamin and mineral supplements in the form of tablets, capsules and canisters of powders that are mixed into “delicious” shakes.

Look at the number of network marketing companies that offer “nutritious” supplements to their distributors. There are literally hundreds of companies promoting their products! Using exquisitely designed marketing materials and well laid out websites, each of these companies proclaim one basic theme “Ours is the Best”! A month does not go by that you don’t get something in the mail about a revolutionary, doctor endorsed, new nutritional formula or a catalog featuring a wide variety of vitamins and minerals that will, “quite possibly”, cure any ailment.

With the above in mind, take a look at the health condition of the U.S. population. All anyone needs to do is refer to health and mortality statistics reported by the Center of Disease Control (CDC) to learn that cancer rates are at all time highs and growing. Cardiovascular disease and stroke are at all time highs. Diabetes in both children and adults is at an all time high and rapidly growing.

Arthritis and joint pain are at all time highs. Depression and anxiety are at all time highs. Internal organ disorders and disease are at all time highs. With all of the health products being marketed to us…….why are major diseases on the increase? If we are regularly ingesting all of our fortified and enriched foods that contain the necessary vitamin and mineral nutrients and we are dutifully taking our daily vitamin & mineral supplements, shouldn’t the quality of America’s health be at an all time high? The answer is “of course, we should all be healthier….much healthier”!

Why aren’t we healthier? Why do so many continue to suffer from bouts with the cold, flu, sore throats, allergies and pneumonia? How and why has our immune system become so compromised? With all of the nutritional supplements that are available, including all of the vitamin and mineral enriched and fortified foods…….we as a society should all be reeling with optimum health and boundless energy! Instead, just the opposite is true! Fatigue for many, seems to be the order of the day.

In the name of “good health”, consider this:

Milk is fortified and enriched with Vitamins A and D

Most all cereals are fortified and enriched with all of the major vitamin and mineral groups….in many cases with 100% of RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance).

Breads, cake mixes, biscuit mixes, pancake and cornbread mixes, frostings, muffins, pies, cookies and crackers are all fortified and enriched with Vitamin A and most of the B vitamins as well as several minerals.

Packaged pastas are fortified and enriched with most of the B vitamins as well as Iron and Zinc.

Unless naturally squeezed or pressed, most all fruit and vegetable juices are fortified and enriched with at least vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin A (palmitate) and calcium (calcium citrate, carbonate, ascorbate or phosphate).

Many canned foods such as soups, fruits, vegetables, pastas, beans, etc. are fortified and enriched with various vitamins and minerals.

The list of foods goes on and on……all one needs to do is read the labels. MOST EVERYTHING WE INGEST IS EITHER ENRICHED/FORTIFIED WITH ADDED VITAMIN AND MINERAL NUTRIENTS……all in synthetic form! Depending upon our personal susceptibility to chemicals, we are overloading our bodies with potentially dangerous laboratory made ingredients.

And, if the fortification and enrichment weren’t enough, much of our food is loaded with high fructose corn syrup (a leading contributor to obesity and diabetes).
